Anders Kjærulff Lyngby

Voting for foreigners

You can vote if you are at least 18 years old.

If you do not hold a Danish passport, you can still vote if you are:

• an EU citizen, or a citizen of Iceland, Norway, or the United Kingdom, or
• from another country but have lived in Denmark for at least 4 years (i.e., arrived before 18 November 2021).

If you do not vote by the 14th of November, you can only vote on Election Day – Tuesday, November 18.
On that day, you must bring your polling card, which will be sent to you by mail.

Where to vote?

You can vote on Election Day: Tuesday, 18 November, but then you must bring your voting card, which will be sent to you by post. The voting card also tells you where to go.

How to vote? – the instruction below is used if you vote before the 18th Nov.

If you want to vote for a specific candidate, fill in the name of the candidate in the box called “Kandidatnavn” on the ballot:

If you only want to vote for a party you can fill in the party’s letter in the box “Bogstavbetegnelse”.

For example if you want to vote for me, you just write my name “Anders Kjærulff” in the last box.

If you don’t vote before 14 November, you can vote on Election Day: Tuesday, 18 November, but then you must bring your voting card, which will be sent to you by post.

Happy voting!

Best regards,
Anders Kjærulff — party letter “C”
